James and Pat helped with stirring the mud in the big new spot we dug on Saturday. It looks like the brick pits from “The Ten Commandments” now! A couple more days with the sun and wind like today (especially if it gets warmer!), and then we’ll be able to move around a little more easily.
We need to decide what kind of pavement we want around the cement patio/herb garden/pergola area. We don’t need to get it all in place at one time, but we have to choose something so we can get it around the mud pit in the next couple of weeks.

I never got to keep a mud pit at my house when I was a kid, when had to use the one at the end of the block next to the wild raspberry patch. It was next to the girl scout house.
