Try having both hit you with simultaneous uppercuts. On a positive note, things have gotten better. Despite the negative tone of my last post, I am optimistic and hopeful, as many things have been resolved.

I lost my job, my car, my apartment, my credit and a husband within nine months of the "official" onset of CFIDS. I have gotten another apartment, and another vehicle, but the rest is chaff in the wind. I've learned how to deal with things as they come because I've had no choice. Hang in there!

I haven't heard from him, nor has he checked in. "No news is good news," so we are waiting.

Such is my hope. By now he's most likely doing treatment (or in between rounds of treatment), having already done staging a while back--just an assumption on my part.

My heart goes out to him, and I pray for a swift and long-lasting recovery.
