I was going to start up that way tonight but when I got home I found a liquid bubbling up in my side yard near the water meter. It stopped when I turned off the water. I guess I need to did a hole.

We did a hole once, when the water meter indicated a TREMENDOUS amount of water usage. A burst in the long line between the main road and our house -- the "water-witcher" (I don't believe in this stuff but LoM hired him) found the break in quite short order and it was soon fixed. With a pressure reduction valve installed so we weren't over design pressure anymore.

I think I have fixed it. The last owner of this did some unconventional repairs and I am over the years redoing them. He Teed off the main line to the house for a sprinkler system. I found one leak and will fill the hole tomorrow.

Hope you enjoy your trip to the greater DC area. Thats my sisters neck of the woods. She moved a little further to WV not to long ago. All my trips to the DC areas are a pleasure. Even trip that I spent the night in the terminal at Las Vegas.
