Okay.. here is MY two cents worth.... I have heard some chatter about a THIRD party push to offset the McCain factor.. I SAY NO !! and here is why....
I feel that the solution to the McCain factor is for CONSERVATIVES TO SUPPORT THE HILDABEAST OR OBAMA !! -- while at the same time PUSHING HARD to take back the House/Senate... what will happen is this.. we will send the message LOUD/CLEAR that our party is NOT DEAD -- but in serious need of some TOUGH LOVE !! What I would LOVE to see is a lopsided victory for the HildaBeast or Obama as we take over control of congress to keep said President in check.. IF we choose the THIRD PARTY option we will NOT be able to get the MAJORITIES we need in congress to keep the President in check.. this is VITAL to our National Security and keeps the TWO-PARTY system in play.. which is ABSOLUTELY VITAL to getting anything done in CONGRESS !!

YES that is true we CAN.. while at the same time making our party look like a bunch of IDIOTS... it is a LOT easier to fight an enemy than it is to fight the folks in your own party.. we have proven THAT fact over and over... I say we GIVE HildaBEAST/Obama a 4 year fight, and try again in 2012.. maybe the RNC will quit ignoring the BASE !!!

I'm not happy with McCain but I won't hand the White House to a clinton again, ever. Please stop trying to convince me of this.
here are the choices my FRiend.. a 4 year CIVIL WAR will destroy our party... but a 4 year COMBAT TOUR will energize it... and the base will NEVER be ignored again...
Why would fighting McCain be any different than fighting against President Bush? He's giving the country away to Mexico as we speak. $1.4 billion being earmarked for the southern Mexico border initiated by President Bush. How is giving the White House back to Hillary better than just continuing to fight and getting a few things our way?
Until someone steps up who is truly conservative, we will have to settle for a mccain and be happy it isn't hillary

David: Thanks for your service. You may know that other Freepers have served,too. The Infantry school has a motto-”Follow Me.” It is not about following an idea. It has to do with following a man who leads from the front.
My FRiend, I am not trying to convince YOU that my plan is best for our party and for advancing conservatism.... you obviously have made up your mind.. however there are many freepers who are seriously considering my plan.... I am sorry that you can’t see that voting for McCain will DESTROY our party, move our party so far to the left that we will not be able to recover, and in the end destroy the two-party system that is vital to advancing conservatism... bottom line be MUST take back congress.... and empower the Conservative REPUBLICANS in congress by giving them an enemy to fight for the next 4 years (HildaBeast or Obama)..... and not create what will be perceived by the world as a political civil war for the next 8 years....
