I'm not a huge fan of McCain, but I think any criticism of his time as a POW will backfire. Everyone knows the Vietcong tortured people horribly. Just because a few guys claim "no one" was tortured that they were aware of, doesn't mean the average American is going to believe that.

I'm not thrilled about our choice either, but I don't think this will be a bombshell like you do.

my FRiend.. I was not predicting a bomb shell.. I was just trying to forcast some potential pitfalls that might put the GOP nomminee on the defensive in the General Election... besides I don't know if I can actual vote for him anyway... here is my 2 cents worth..

ONE reason I might actually vote for the HildaBEAST is that I would rather we lose the WhiteHouse by a HUGE margin, than lose it narrowly.. <— If we all rally behind John McCain we will be PUSHING our party further and further to the LEFT... and that is UNACCEPTABLE IMHO..
