Tokio Rose has been “cleared” rightly or wrongly but you can still compare the modern anti-American war movement to Mildred Gillars (aka Midge, aka Axis Sally) and William Joyce (aka Lord Haw Haw).
The British hung Lord Haw Haw after the war. The Americans imprisoned Axis Sally for upwards of a decade.
Michael Moore has echoed the words of Axis Sally. And she was convicted of treason for a RADIO DRAMA, not even the offenses she committed like dressing as a Red Cross nurse, interviewing US prisoners of war, and using those American soldiers (held captive in Germany) comments out of context to sour US moral. Which is exactly what Michael Moore did in F911 when he used comments by a serviceman who was injured when a tire exploded out of context.

If a “Justice and Peace Commission” just doesn’t smack of 1984 Newspeak I don’t know what does.
Every time I hear names like this bandied about I just can’t think about hardcore Fascism and Totalitarianism.
