Liked Hunter, but I am a Thompson supporter. No Huckabee.

I am not ready to finalize my position on either Huck or Mitt. I must in my mind resolve yet unsettled issues as which one from a broad viewpoint would reach out for the best choices to form their administration, as well as which will be more conservative leaning in their choice of judges.
As far as I am concerned it is important to figure out who will be on the payroll. The mix in Congress has just as much effect on what path the country will go as who is elected president.
Who is the best administrator. For the next ten years or so we need a POTUS who will not turn their backs on using military force to fight the GWOT.
Babies will continue to be killed in the womb, regardless of who becomes POTUS.
But who will keep another 9/11 from coming to past, and who will strive to go after the Islamist radical groups world wide and who will confront China and Russian in their quest to become super powers, both from a military as well as commercial view point.
The only guy I saw really in the position to confront these issues was Duncan. He had the guts to take a solid position, and most probably follow through against the grain. I don't see the rest of them fitting his boots.
Bottom line is, if McCain becomes the candidate to run against either of the clowns on the other side, I am going to vote for McCain. This crap not voting or voting for the opposite side is a bunch of BS. It serves no purpose.
What serves a purpose is for grass root levels to get sufficient real conservatives back on the Hill, so that those who propose and make the laws favor our agenda.
We can ill afford for a democrat to take the presidency.
Food for thought. As more of the minorities that for ages on, have depended on the socialist system to provide food on their tables emerge, it is going to become harder to elect solid conservative performers.
One must consider how America operates at this point in time, with quick ill informed and lacking in detail news via. the Internet, as well as news papers and the boob tube.
Masses are so easily swayed into a shallow opinion. To many people love the Clintons, after all the crap they have been shown to have pulled off for so many years.
At least I know somewhat where I stand with a McCain. I also know how much worst it would be with either of the demowits to take charge. McCain will be strong on National Defense. And to me that takes precedence over how many babies will be aborted in this juncture in time, who snuggles up to who on the Hill.

The tone of my last post. It’s an “excuse me” for Juan McCain’s cheerleaders, not meant for you.
