What a nice thread on such a cold blustery day!

Could anyone suggest a place (online or catalog) to get gourd seeds?

I’d like to grow some with the kids - they are always such fun. The “exotic” type of gourds are what I am looking for - the long necks, loofahs, bushels, etc.

Thank you!

Joh Scheepers’ Kitchen Garden seeds has 2 gourd “mixtures.” One mix is large gourds and the other is small one. They might just be what you’re looking for.

The web site is www.kitchengardenseeds.com

Hope that helps, all my other catalogs are downstairs, but if I come across any others I’ll post them.

Henry Field's Seed & Nursery is one of my favorite sources for seeds. I don't know how good this selection of gourds would seem to you, but I grew the birdhouse ones and they were very prolific.
