Needs Of The Many ^

Posted on 01/22/2008 12:48:55 AM PST by vaper69

Some highlights include him explaining why he has flip flopped on the border fence, Amber Alert is unconstitutional, the North American Union is real, it is not kidnapping to take a minor across state lines without the parents knowing, and tip toeing around the neo-Nazi money while denying giving part of Alex Jones' donation back.

Run time is 10 minutes.

“Some highlights include him explaining why he has flip flopped on the border fence,”

Total lie.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/01/ron_paul_on_immigration.html

Totally consistent!

“Amber Alert is unconstitutional,”

He opposes setting up a federal program for this but is in favor of a volunteer system. you have a problem with that?

“the North American Union is real,”

Total lie - I just listened to the whole thing and it wasn’t mentioned once.

“it is not kidnapping to take a minor across state lines without the parents knowing,”

He doesn’t think it’s the role of the federal government to man checkpoints between states and have federal agents try to divine the intent of the passengers. Sounds kinda police state-ish to me. Papers please?

“and tip toeing around the neo-Nazi money while denying giving part of Alex Jones’ donation back.”

Another lie.

His policy is not to send money back to anyone and he makes a good case for it. He didn’t “deny” sending Alex Jones donation back - he said he didn’t know whether it happened but that he didn’t personally monitor every penny in and out of his campaign and that HIS policy is not to take someones money and send it back to someone else who previously donated to him but whose money was already spent.

I *HOPE* people listen to the audio you posted!

They will learn what a thoughtful and principled man Dr. Paul is. It’s threads like this that brought me to support him.

So good job - you will get some backslaps from some people who either didn’t listen or support big government.... and other people will listen and support the Doctor.

Well worth listening too. I do see how some have tried to twist his words on what he said. However, it requires an open mind.

Border fences, yes, they could look ugly as he envisioned. As he states, he still supported the fence and securing the borders. Hope the Chinese company that was awarded the contract to build the fence will build a nice pretty and secure one. LOL

National Guard would be better than the Standing Military. I agree, bring our border guards home and let them protect our borders. Also, free Ramos and Compean while they're at it.

I think it was a good interview. Nothing like bringing up a 500.00 donation out of the 25MM the man has already raised. How is that tiptoeing? Per an article I read Alex Jones sent more money to the campaign per his wife that would have been over the amount allowed by law. The campaign sent the difference back. Just the facts please.

Paul, Hunter and Tancredo have been speaking about border security for a long time. Thompson has joined in as well. The others are for open borders.

Regardless of what Dr. Paul does, he will always have his detractors just like the others.

He is not talking about dropping out while the others are or have already. He has no reason to.

The radio station interview probably worked out well as the listeners agreed with him on most if not all of his points. Heck, he came in second, a distant second, but he came in second and won some delegates.

Many in congress and in states are fighting the NAU that the state department and the administration says does not exist. Why would states be enacting legislation to stop the NAU if it doesn't exist? Wonder who is lying to the American People?

Lots of those who hated Paul or did not understand him are starting to see what he has said is correct. Not to late to join in. The Ron Paul Revolution marches on.

How people distort what Dr. Paul has said or written. Too funny.

Good, sorry the great news is, while others are dropping out, RP will continue to press forward.

Was a good fundraiser day for Paul. Over 5K new donors. The smears are not working.

Every single post by this guy is to spam his own blog into news categories.

I don’t think the account has any other purpose.

I just filled in the Suggestion form on the paul08 site - suggesting 2 possible VP picks

Gary Johnson, former Governor of New Mexico
Barry Goldwater, JR

Now that I think about it.... I wonder if JD Hayworth would be up for it?

I really have not thought about it as much.

I know others have mentioned Mark Sanford of SC. Both he and Johnson tend to follow the constitution. Dr. P likes that.

Vaper69, is that what you are doing? If that is your blog, it really needs some overhauling.

I would not be directing anyone to your blog till you have really cleaned it up.

Yes I’ve heard Sanford, too.

Other suggestions I’ve heard are Judge Andrew Napolitano - I think he’d be a great pick.

I am hoping he announces his veep pick a few days before Super Tuesday for some major momentum.

John Stossel is another name I’ve heard bandied about.

Sanford would throw many people on this forum into a tailspin, since he’s a little popular here.

But... I think the Doctor and the Judge would be a great combination.

Napolitano would help a LOT in the Northeast.

I’ve heard the Judges name as well.

I know some folks think he would pick Dennis Kucinich. NO HE WOULD NOT!!! He has stated they are friends in Congress. They disagree on economic policies and therefore would not be a VP choice.

Bill Clinton wants back in the WH, he may just lobby for the VP job. LOL

Was a good fundraiser day for Paul.

And the money goes a long way. I think the SA Brownshirts worked for free, too. :-(

Ummm no. This is the real lie. It wasn’t a good answer. He said, “the money has already been spent” ROFLMAO! And you think that is a good answer. Ron Paul has plenty of cash, if he wanted to stand on principle he would have returned the money, or donated it to a charity. In light of his newletter, he should have done that a long time ago.

Now I don’t know what this guy’s stance is on a border fence and border security. He babbles like the wacko standing on a street corner. Fortunately, most people make no eye contact and quickly walk by the street person. A few may throw their money away by tossing some in his tincan but it won’t it won’t make him CEO material.
