I felt very comfortable when I figured the rats were destined to nominate the repugnant, thoroughly unelectable Hillary. Her nomination would lead not only to a colossal electoral landslide for the Republican candidate (any Republican candidate) but would even improve the GOP’s chance to take back the House with the “down ticket” ripple effect.
But Obama? The Obama phenomenon is too new to get a handle on, especially since right now it’s only the rats who are paying him much attention. I do sense the possibility, though, that with ten months of vigorous face time on TV the silly Obama fad might fade away like the hoola hoop, Trivial Pursuit, and Tickle My Elmo. I just hope it happens before election day 2008

So far tonite I’ve seen article’s from gays stating that “Hillary is our ONLY hope” to Dems waking up to the “Nomination Stolen by Super-delegates” game.
If we WISE UP< and nominate someone that can actually GET ELECTED, 2008 could/can be a cakewalk for us...
i never argued that he was a deficient commander because he was a democrat. just that if he was asleep (or drunk) at the helm while almost being run over by a jap ship, he was derelict in his duty. and he endangered the lives of his men. if you would like to elevate that action to hero status, so be it. if true, i would not.

To be honest with you, I never heard of this story. They certainly don’t speak of this anywhere that I am aware of. Even while on the USS KENNEDY, they did not mention any of this.
