I will bet you that George W. Bush will beat algore in 2000. Do we have a bet?
Sure, Eric... I bet you a Bill Clinton three dollar bill that is buried in my cousin Wick's backyard where his dog pees all the time.
Dixville Notch goes to McCain.
Dixville went for Obama.
Zero for Hillary.

Obama 7
Edwards 2
Richardson 1
Clinton 0
Kucinich 0
Republicans: 7 votes.
McCain 4
Romney 2
Giuliani 1
Thompson 0
Huckabee 0
Wiki shows a total of 18 votes in Dixville, 10 democrat, 8 republican (4-mccain, 2-romney, 2-giuliani).
Oddly, earlier today a news outlet said there were 16 registered voters....
Anybody heard the result from Hart’s landing?
Wiki has 8 republican votes, with 2 for Giuliani.
I remember that either Hart’s landing or Dixville notch actually miscounted in the last general election, and had to modify their results (or maybe it was the 2000 election).
Funny that we can’t get a consistant report from a place with only 18 voters (or is it 16 or 17?)
Holy crap - the whole town switched from GOP to RAT !!!
In Hart’s Location, Democrat Obama received nine votes, Hillary Rodham Clinton received three and John Edwards received one. On the Republican side, McCain received six, Mike Huckabee received five, Ron Paul received four and Mitt Romney one.
From http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/politics&id=5872028
That story said the same thing about registered voters:
“Dixville this year, there were three registered Republicans, one Democrat and 12 who were undeclared. Hart’s Location had eight Democrats, eight Republicans and 13 undeclared.”
But there were 17 votes cast in Dixville. The Hart’s Location totals were correct.
Anything’s possible here I guess. When FOX had the story I could see that Giuliani only had one vote and it was announced that way. But you never know, a mysterious ballot might have showed up, or maybe he got a vote at first attributed to someone else. There are only supposed to be 17 votes cast though.
Dixville caught Obamamania!
Typical. 16 legal votes: 8 democrat, 8 Republican. 2 illegal votes: 2 democrat, of course. Small cemetery.
They have dead people up there also.
