New FR poll indicates that support for Duncan Hunter of FR is fading away.. is it true or not?
I have always said that the support of FR members is critical to a grassroots campaign... Over the past several weeks FReepers have been split on Fred Thompson and Duncan Hunter.. it appears by the current poll that many of those FReepers that were leaning toward Duncan Hunter are drifting toward Fred Thompson... Is this an accurate assessment or are there still Duncan Hunter supporters on FR?
TOWARD VICTORY !!

Yes, they sure can dish it out but can’t take it. It’s politics after all. Sadly, some want to silence dissent amongst fellow conservatives. And some need to be reminded how McCain was demonized and his fellow conspirators damned as ‘traitors’ on this very site for campaign finance reform. But he’s an actor and allegedly is ‘electable’ so desperation makes for very strange bedfellows. It remains my very strong opinion that there is no more better conservative worthy of conservative support than Duncan Hunter.
Maybe not in Texas, which has a March 4 primary. He may be out of the running by then.
I will vote for Hunter if he's on the ballot in Pennsylvania
The petitions to get Hunter on the ballot in VA are being delivered today and fell quite short of the required number, primarily because most didn't know a drive was taking place.
I informed the guy I talked to that I didn't give a rip if his name is on the ballot or not.
There is such a thing as a WRITE IN!
I'll be damned if "they" are going to tell me who I am permitted to vote for in the primary.
Write-ins are not universal. Each state has its own laws in regard to write-in votes. Texas, for instance, requires “official” write-in candidates to file up to 45 days before a general electoin. Only the official write-in candidate’s votes are tabulated in Texas. Just writing in anyone in a blank slot won’t work. Most in TX seem unsure of how to approach a write-in slot: it’s too intimidating for the meekly sheeple here.
Not me. If a RINO like Huckabee can do it, then a true conservative can do it as well.
Each state needs to find out what the rules are and get that information out asap.
Thanks for the ping

According to Intrade, the winner of the December 12th GOP debate was... Duncan Hunter.

Starting to examine my long term options (voting, volunteering, contributing and wise) in November 2008, if a RINO gets the GOP nomination, all the while maintaining a strong level of support right now for DUNCAN HUNTER in these early primaries to raise a ruckus and send a message and maybe even pull off a surprise or two.
I just look at the alternatives and they raise some level of contempt or disgust. So no, I’ll be voting for Hunter, I’ll be watching some Ford Republican get nominated and I’ll vote for him and watch him lose. Much like 1976..
If he is on the ballot he is not out of the running.
I think Huckabee did the best job losing weight.
It appears to me that Ronald Reagan is endorsing Duncan Hunter! Makes sense to me.
