Where are you Rush?
Where are you Bill OReilly and Sean Hannity?
And what about you, Matt Drudge and Joseph Farah?
The cunning Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which Internet writer Selwyn Duke calls a group that could be the legal arm of al-Qaeda is out to take down radio talk show host Michael Savage.

Canadian take on CAIR v. Savage.
Calling out Rush, Hannity, etc.
Thanks to Rockabyebaby for the heads up!
bump for later
Can’t we find someone less unpleasant and annoying to defend?
If they take down Savage, they will be gunning for Rush and the rest next.
If they can destroy Savage, who is next?
Michael can defend himself quite nicely, thank you.
As I understand it, CAIR has launched a campaign to boycott advertisers on his program. This is an example of CAIR using their freedom of speech.
A great many Freepers have proposed boycotts of advertisers on programs they disagree with. It is a perfectly legitimate tactic, although difficult to implement effectively.
Well I guess if Savage wasn’t such a curmudgeon and didn’t call Rush, Hush Bimbo, and O’Reilly the Leprechaun and deride Sean Hannity etc... that they might feel like defending him a little more. If I was one of them I’d tell Savage to go pound sand too. I’m guessing quite a few are thinking, “couldn’t have happened to a nicer person”.
“If they can destroy Savage, who is next?”
All of them!
CAIR is a terrorist, sharia law organization. They use threats and intimidation, such as lawsuits to shut down anyone that tells the truth about the Religion of Death.
Not a boycott in the traditional sense.
See #12.
Thanks Camerakid!
If they break the law, prosecute them. If they don’t, they have equal rights with other Americans to express their opinion and attempt to influence other Americans to share their opinion of Mr. Savage.
I don’t consider them Americans. They put Islam and sharia law first and foremost. CAIR is not about being a citizen of this country.
The law and the Constitution consider them to be Americans. Use your own freedom of speech and press to criticize them, as you are doing here and as Mr. Savage does.
I’m not defending CAIR’s practices or beliefs, only their constitutional right to promote them. If you don’t think they should have that right, what government agency do you want to decide who does and does not have freedom of speech?
Dynachrome to Christian: “I don’t believe in Jesus Christ”
Christian to Dynachrome: “I will pray for you”
Dynachrome to Muslim: “I don’t beleive in Muhammed”
Muslim to Dynachrome: “I will behead you”
The Constitution does not protect organizations that call for the overthrow of the U.S. Gov’t.
CAIR does that IMHO, if not in legal opinion.
Sure it does. You have every right to join the Communist Party or other groups that advocate changing our form of government, as long as that advocacy does not involve illegal activities.
If you disagree, please point me to the relevant section of our Constitution detailing this exclusion from the Bill of Rights.
