It’s funny that you don’t mind attacking candidates, just so long as it isn’t your candidate.

I think we’d all be better off it we remembered that our candidates are not perfect, that we are all compromising in some fashion, and stop attacking other conservatives for the compromises THEY are making that they don’t think are any bigger than the ones they think YOU are making.

Let’s boost conservatives, not tear down it’s membership.

I hold the same view Jim R hold ie as long as the candidate is liberal...all’s fair. I do not attack Duncan or Fred (obviously because I support Fred). Although I defend Duncan, often...especially when I think people are unfair; but also I give my opinion on his viability. So you’re wrong.

So it’s not funny or a joke. It makes perfect sense. I defend conservative candidates. Simple.

“stop attacking other conservatives for the compromises THEY are making that they don’t think are any bigger than the ones they think YOU are making.”

Rudy, Romney, and McCain aren’t comprimises...choosing Rudy is renouncing ones own beliefs (if one ever had them), Romney is like a deck of cards...you never know which face is his, and McCain is unreliable and often unstable.

If I could believe Romney was what he is now, I’d find him semi-acceptable...minus his medical perspective. I can’t accept McCain’s immigration policy...and Rudy is just too much of a compromise.

I’d gladly vote for Duncan in the primary IF he wins early primaries. I think any reasonable conservative would consider this. Fred is my mostly likely vote, and yes to some point we don’t see things exactly the same. But we fundamentally match.

“Let’s boost conservatives, not tear down it’s membership.”

Fred and Duncan will always be supported by me...as will any one whom supports 75% of the conservative agenda. I don’t even ask for 100%...just as long as you’re on board with the fundamentals.

That’s not too much to ask.

Oddly, I find myself repeat things that Jim R says. He said something similiar to this as well. And I agree...but I also agree that we can’t let our party be infilitrated by imposters.
