hordes of Moonbats now come to rant.

I noticed one of them saying you don't use the Li'l Beaver with the Weblog Finalist sign anymore. Make sure you use it again just to piss them off.

I leave all their rantings up for your entertainment.

And they are FUnnie. The moonbats will never understand why you would do this. The sites they frequent will remove their comments at the slightest hint of dissent.

It's the difference between being tombstoned and being ZOTted. Being erased is the Socialist way. Keeping stupidity on display for ridicule is the American way.

PJ — I just finished reading the comments on your blog. I’m so glad the left wing blogsphere gave you so much publicity, and they’re so enthusiastically leaving comments. I hope it keeps up, because you’ll be able to DUFU the comments from your blog!

Bush Republicans don't compromise.

Now about that word compromise. That means that you meet someone halfway on an issue so that while neither side gets everything they want, both sides walk away with some of what they want. That's supposed to be the end.

To illustrate the liberal definition of compromise, I'll tell you a story about buying milk in our house. I always used to buy 4% because I only use milk for cooking. Then I had kids and my wife wanted to cut down on their fat intake and wanted to start buying 1%. We compromised and started buying 2%; still serviceable for cooking and half the fat. If that were the end, then that would be a successful compromise.

Sadly no. A year or so later, the wife wanted to go to skim milk. This is completely unacceptable for cooking, but is healthier for cooking. So between skim milk and 2%, there's 1%. That was the new compromise.

You can see where this is going, right? I ended up getting compromised down to skim milk.

Bringing this analogy back to the neo-conservative movement that began with the Reagan Revolution, we compromised down with the New Deal to 2%, compromised down to 1% with the War on Poverty, and when Jimmuh came along, he put us on skim milk.

Reagan managed what seemed to be impossible. He compromised us up to lowfat milk, say 1.5%. Bush maybe got us back to 2%--I don't know. All I know is that if you ever get back to 2% milk, you don't ever want to go back. Regardless of this, I am uncompromising in making mashed potatoes using nothing but butter and heavy creme.

Add Steney Hoyer to the list of accessories to High Treason.

DUmmies' list of accessories to high treason is like Jack Lemmon's list in the movie The Out of Towners.

Welcome back, Petronski! No matter which candidate we may support at the moment, we are STILL on the same side.

It's tricky, apparently. I was able to get it AFTER I had already been to the site that had the bunch of links. But on a "fresh screen," I wasn't able to. But if you copy-and-paste the URL and click, you should be able to access it:

http://209.197.86.65/19841988/rock/doors/Love_Her_Madly.mid

I hope on tomorrow morning's DUFU, you at least mention the Weblog Awards--I've got some ideas for comments. If so, I will try to find an easier music link and re-post the song.

Here are a couple to choose from. I could probably find more.

http://209.197.86.65/19841988/rock/doors/Love_Her_Madly.mid

http://www.midipapa.de/MIDIs/DocDoc/Love_Her_Madly_-Doors.mid

Finding a MIDI link that a) works and b) sounds good is sometimes harder than writing the words of the parody! Then, some months later, I may have a reason to post the song again and I discover the link no longer is active!

I rarely need the audio files because my old roommate, junior year of college, was an audiophile. Doors tunes especially; of my three roommates, I was the only one who didn't believe that Jim Morrison was a poet. Dylan was, is, and will continue to be a poet. John Lennon was arguably a poet. Jim Morrison was a poet as much as Andy Warhol was an artist.

That aside, I heard all the Doors tunes I ever needed to hear between September of '84 and June of '85. The music was great. The lyrics...not so much. I like your lyrics MUCH better that Morrison's

I think of the Doors the way I think of the Dixie Chicks. I like some of their songs, especially "Love Her Madly" (from the former) and "Travelling Soldier" (from the latter), but in the end, they let an overbearing asshole ruin the music.

Now when you do parodies of show tunes, I need the help. Whatever. Keep doing what you do, you magnificent Lutheran Norwegian bastard.

These Elmer Fudd Democrats are terrified of the "Mean ol We-publican Wabbits". Remember how ol Bugs always got Elmer to shoot himself in the face? These Democrats are a total disgrace.

That is just about the FUnniest thing I've ever read. Elmer Fudd Democrats. This HUffie really deserves a hat tip. Elmer Fudd Democrats. It could become a household name. Possibly even better than Lucy (PJ) pulling the football away from Charlie Brown (the DUmmies).

Hey, doc, it ain't Republican season.

“A revolution is the only way out.”
Sure, seein’ as how us conservatives own almost all the guns.

I am doing my part...four handguns, two Mossburg shotguns and one fully automatic M16 with three 20 round mags and two 30 round mags.

“A coup that started with the assination of John Kennedy...”

“Assassination” or “assignation”? Both are plausible.

At least we don't worship a demented, dry drunk, mass murderer with the IQ of a gnat and his evil Machiavellian puppet master.

So you worship Teddy Kennedy instead?
