Right. I give up.

Well, in that case: www.ronpaul2008.com/donate.

; )    [We do have a reputation for persistence to uphold...]

Also you say we will respond, which I hope we do, but can you find any cities to volunteer to be the one blasted by a nuke we could have prevented if we had take an aggressive stance? It could save some paper work and planning on Iran's or whomever part...

Can you name a city that hasn't? Here, I'll parse it for you:
  1. They live in cities. Therefore, they vote Blue.
  2. So if you're right and they get nuked, it's their fault, not yours and the Dim herd is mildly culled. Darwin would suggest that the survival instincts and voting habits of that weak breed of Donkeys would be consequently improved in future generations but it seems that kind of stupidity is pretty genetically ingrained.
  3. And if you're wrong and they don't get nuked, then President Paul and a conservative GOP can proceed to solve the country's longstanding fundamental problems caused, most briefly stated, by a refusal to abide the Constitution's sage fundamental laws on matters like abolition of the IRS, dealing with illegal immigration, entitlements, tort reform, education privatization, restoring civil rights including freedom of speech, well, all those things that conservatives barely talk about because they're...all hiding under the bed with you trembling in terror of Achmed's supposed Bomb. Well, except that Achmed and his Bomb are far more likely to be Paki or Saudi than Iranian. And that threat has not been mitigated in the slightest during the Bush years and has, in fact, grown considerably.
A country filled with sheeple that has cheerfully murdered 50 million unborn children while munching Doritos on their couches and watching Superbowls and following the every exploit of Britney Spears can't exactly be standing on a moral high ground to excite great sympathies over them.

So either way, I'm fine with it. And my politics and principles won't change either way.

The rest of you tried to reinvent conservative principle after 9/11 and continuing "compassionate conservatism" (genuine Texan Great Society liberalism, LBJ-style). What you reinvented was Wilsonian internationalism and nationbuilding and militarism which simply don't work in the 21st century.

Tell me, are you old enough to recall the LBJ years? I am, just barely. The future is grim for the GOP if some of you don't come to your senses and push a genuinely conservative agenda. It's the only thing that can win for us in 2008.

I have no problem with most of that, though it does sound a bit callous.

However there are others who can push the parts of that agenda that are applicable who do not have a very dangerous and naive view of 21st century security.
