No, I choose to live in reality . Where the idea that a few people on the Internet can affect the medical treatment of a human being is viewed as laughable and people who propagate that idea are viewed as nuts. But you’re perfectly free to spread that notion at the DUmp. We need the laughs.

It looks like the poll got DU’ped. I’m sorry, PJ, we tried...
right click in the flash animation, select the settings option in the flyout, select the local storage screen in the small pop-up (looks like a folder icon in windows), and slide the slider bar down to 0kb. It will tell you that decreasing the value below a certain level will cause all information for the site that is hosting the flash object to be removed - click ok, and then close. Refresh the page, flash will ask you to allow or deny access for the site to store data on your machine, click allow, and refresh again, then viola, you can vote again. The problem is determining whether or not the vote is getting tallied.
The best way to do the check is to pick a time when most voters would be sleeping. I'm too old to try that one.

looks like it works the first few times...
alas it looks like one would need a proxy server, an anonymizer service, or as you mentioned a firewall that hides the last few octets of your IP address to properly spoof the voting system into tallying the votes.
I think I have half of it solved already, but I’ve only had a few minutes to work on this here and there, plus I’ve got other more pressing issues to attend to. So, I guess we just let them cheat this one (not that new ground is being broken there or anything. AHEM... “vote early vote often”). Sorry, excuse me - I must’ve had something caught in my throat there.
PJ, I’m sorry. I have tried to vote and have been able the past couple days. I get the vote box but not the options. I don’t know what’s wrong with the site.
