Yesterday was an AMAZING day. After the leftwing site, Sadly No! gained on the DUmmie FUnnies Friday night to the point of overtaking us by a few votes by 9 PM, Freeper Karma worked its magic and the DUmmie FUnnies surged back into the lead to such an extent that we were leading by almost 700 votes by late yesterday afternoon. However last night, the extreme leftwing blog, Sadly No!, launched a bigtime attack upon the DUmmie FUnnies and your humble correspondent. You can read about the Sadly No! attack in this FR THREAD. In addition even the DUmmies have launched a frontal assault upon the DUFUs as you can read HERE.
Although this attack from them as well as several other leftwing sites has narrowed the vote gap to less than 100 votes currently, there is one incredible fringe benefit to this. They have given the DUmmie FUnnies an incredible amount of free publicity and are bringing us new readers and a lot of attention from around the Web. So thank you DUmmies, Sadly No!, and a host of other loony left sites for inadvertently promoting us.
The other great thing is the ENORMOUS outpouring of support for the DUmmie FUnnies yesterday. The BEST thing about these awards is really find out how much you like us, you really, really...Okay, I better stop before I go into full Sally Fields mode but Li'l Beaver and I really do appreciate tremendously your help.
Since I was finally able to catch up on my sleep last night, I should be able to start writing and posting my promised serialized short stories, "Confessions of a Satellite Dish Salesman," hopefully later today.

Dear God! It looks like they turned some bots loose on this thing or something. That’s an outrageous vote increase from yesterday. Looks fishy to me.
