A few short weeks ago, W&M quietly launched a bias reporting system and invited students to report anonymously their fellow students for remarks that offend them...
Nichol to Supervise Secret Investigations of Students and Control of Anonymously Lodged Hearsay and Libelous Charges...
In this new tattletale system, President Nichol is kept up to date on all secret investigations of offending remarks and controls the dissemination of any private data collected against any student or faculty member...

You don’t state what your daughter’s major will be, but a no-nonsense college in Michigan is Hillsdale College. It helped in originally founding the Republican Party. They can be found on the internet at www.hillsdale.edu.
We receive a conservative pamphlet from them every month called Imprimis. These are generally abridged excerpts from lectures given by known conservatives (usually) like Tony Snow, Bill Bennett, and Newt Gringrich. Imprimis has been quite informative and I look forward to them coming in the post.
When I read the headline, I assumed it was a tip line for students to report teachers trying to indoctrinate their class.
What a foolish optimist I still am!
It *is* a *lot* like North Korea.
Or the Soviet Union:
The Myth of Pavlik Morozov, Stalin’s Poster Boy for Patriotism, Unravels
Julius Strauss, writing in news.telegraph.co.uk (Dec. 27, 2003):
Even by the high-octane standards of Stalinist-era propaganda, the storyline was a powerful one.
Pavlik Morozov was a handsome 14-year-old schoolboy who lived in a tiny Siberian village, never played truant, always did his homework and was polite to his teachers. He loved communism so much that when his own father broke the law he informed on him to the authorities.
When Pavlik’s vengeful relatives found out, they sneaked up on him as he was picking berries in the woods with his little brother and stabbed him to death.
For generations the story of Pavlik the boy martyr was taught to tens of millions of schoolchildren throughout the Soviet Union.
The embodiment of fierce Soviet patriotism, he was pronounced Pioneer-Hero No 1 and elevated to the rank of communism’s untouchables. (snip)

Zactly.
Thanks.
That would be the Sean Hannity radio show. He took a number of student's calls today.
Question, did you get a reply?
While paging through the local rag, I noticed a little article for a bias hotline run by the county here in NJ. You can call in and anonymously report bias “incidents.”
Like you, I wrote off a letter of protest to the county in protest against this Stalinist garbage. I’m still waiting for a reply.
