8 years in Congress and 30 years in showbiz. Schwartzenegger rudux. I’ll pass.

Yep you are kinda streching the showbiz party aren’t you?... I don’t know his tenure in the film industry and can’t tell you much about it either but I’d bet hard cash it isn’t anywhere near 30 yrs but then what does the truth matter?

Now speaking of 30 years I think that Hunter fellar is much closer to 30 years in getting gov’t paychecks than Thompson is in getting showbiz paychecks... Just guessing..

“I don’t know his tenure in the film industry”

His first movie was “Maria” in 1985. At that time he was 43 yrs. old.

Hunter has earned every cent he has been paid by government in his 26 years in Congress, because he has worked diligently for what is Consitutionally best for America, often against the voting of his campaign collegues!

Thompson lobbied Washington for over 20 years, sometimes for questionable causes reprehensible to conservatives.

My money has been better far spent on Duncan Hunter!

It doesn’t matter to me whether it’s 3 or 30 in showbiz. Like the truth matters to you anyway. The truth of Thompson’s votes in Congress has been posted hundreds of times but that doesn’t matter to his supporters.

No, but they show up on Duncan threads to let us all know that Duncan is not qualified. He needs to be a governor first, then maybe. Or he has no name recognition, he should get on tv more.

Maybe it’s just that he’s too conservative for the majority of the Republican party. Maybe the Republican party isn’t really the conservative party anymore.
