Yeah, but Bush came across as lovable wet paper, that’s the difference. The middle wants to be talk to, not at, they don’t have the attention span for a lecture about what is good for them, they want a howdy and vote for me and things will be just dandy. That’s what killed Steve, while he was right, he was preachy the masses want something else.

As for the rest, remember the thing we have gotten from Bush though. Judge Roberts, tax cuts, strong stand on the WOT to name a few. Mixed bag, sure, but better than what could have been.
