Convicted, accused, or indicted (but not yet convicted) rapists? There’s a difference.
Would the former governor of Arkansas (what’s his name?) fit their description?
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can cause irreparable damage. AFTER conviction, use the name. Before hand, if the person is found not guilty, hopefully he’ll sue the accuser in civil court. Won’t get his honor back, but will make people think twice about flippantly naming someone as if the allegation had been proved. It’s too easy for someone to make a “false statements” which is later proved to be totally inaccurate (ask the Duke lacrosse team).
