I love having this useful tool available for NC. It comes in handy when one of those "I have been a republican all my life, but" letters gets printed in the paper. Punch the writers name in, and boom, 7 out of 10 times (or better) the person is a democrat and has been for years.
How is the dog?

2. The Klan blew up transmitters 35 years ago.
3. Conservatives attacked Randi Rhodes!
Several liberal blogs, including the Randi Rhodes Message Board and Democratic Underground have logged numerous posts on the Rhodes mugging with most of the posters expressing concern about the condition of the popular lib talker.That's strange—isn't their usual reflex to be “concerned” about the condition of the poor muggers who have been forced by the racist, capitalist system to rob white rich people?
And 35 years ago, the Klan was still the terrorist wing of the democrat party.

For crying-out-loud, I was mugged several years ago in front of my apartment, and I had NO jewelry on, either. Sometimes thugs will mug you REGARDLESS of what you are wearing—because they are THUGS! (DUH doesn’t even adequately express my contempt for this line of “thinking”.)
Sheeesh.
We should take no joy in this episode. I am sorry to hear she was injured. No one deserves to be pummelled by a thug.
Maybe some good will come out of this; maybe some of Randi’s “compassion” for criminals will turn into a demand for justice.
Any source that quoted the most hateful, filthy, disgusting site known as the Democratic Underground isn’t worth paying any attention to. All credibility is lost if you put any credence into what they say.
DU is where all the “Inside Job” rhetoric comes from and those people actually believe it!
Wonder what they’ll say if the mugger turns out to be a “protected class”?

Furthermore, if you click on the person's IP address (130.76.64.14), you'll see that Wikipedia is asking that person to stop vandalizing Wikipedia web pages.
No wonder this story isn't being reported elsewhere - it's probably made up.

Good point. It would be wonderful if this knocked some sense (no pun intended) into her that there are bad people out there wanting nothing but to hurt and rob others. And, if caught, full justice must be sought - no trying to understand his past, his upbringing, etc.
In fairness, they also mentioned an incident that occurred a month ago.

3a) George Bush ordered the attack on ms. Rhodes
3b) hit was carried out by Haliburton thugs!
3c) This would not have happened if our troops were not in Iraq
