So the Carpoolers listen to karaoke music and sing things like one hit wonders from Dexy’s Midnight Runners? I couldn’t tell if they were supposed to be singing along to the song on the radio or what?

It’s always occurred to me that if psychics really existed they should tell no one about their talent, purchase lottery tickets across the fruited plains, using their psychic talent of course, win big money and retire quietly to a life of wealth and opulence.

The idea is that psychics are given a supernatural gift from a being who will take away that gift if it's used for direct personal gain.
