The Michigan Department of Agriculture at long last force-tested and tagged Greg Niewendorps twenty head of cattle today.
About twenty supporters and six media representatives were in attendance, Charlevoix County Sheriff George Lasater told me late this afternoon.

After more than seven months of resistance, Michigan cattle farmer Greg Niewendorp had to stand aside as state agriculture officials forcibly tested his 20 cattle for bovine tuberculosis, and attached RFID tags to their ears. The officials had previously quarantined his farm. Is this a defeat or a bump in a long road of resistance?
