Yes, I will vote for the Republican Nominee...if that's Rudy that's who I'll vote for.

I hope and pray it'll be Duncan Hunter. He's the very best man running for the President....NO one can top him.

If James Robison would back Hunter like he backed Bush...he'd have all the support that Dobson has. It was James Robison that talked Dobson into supporting Bush. Dobson would endorse him. I hope that Duncan Hunter realizes this. [Hunter and Robison are both baptist, too]

Best fact check that Dr Dobson is a minister... he isn’t.

Actually, I think the inclination of a human is to rebel against God.

We're taught that in the scriptures, in fact, the scriptures says much regarding man and his rebellion toward God.

Most people think their inner feelings are an impulse from God.

NO...you're kidding me, right? The scriptures specifically teach us not to be led by our feelings or in this manner.

As a Christian I don’t like many of Giuliani’s social policies ...

Do you like his fiscal policies (big government, debt, public private partnerships, etc) or his 2nd Amendment stance? Or his abuse of the 4th amendment? Or his record of appointing liberal judges? Or his appointment of a large number of people prosecuted in corruption scandals? Just wondering.

His record of appointing liberal judges and people prosecuted in corruption scandal speaks more to his social liberalism but, yes, his fiscal policies are also corrupt.

I won't vote against my own interests to send a "message" to a party.

Neither will I...

Uhhh. Dobson himself wrote an op-ed in the NYT today reporting on this meeting. Apparently, HE is under the impression that it happened...

Make no mistake about it, these candidates and influential political activist leaders who threaten to not support the Party’s nominee are playing political extortion to gain policy concessions or angle for a key appointment. They know very well that if they succeed in pulling away even a moderate fraction of voters from the Republican presidential candidate (and down-ballot Republican candidates that benefit from straight ticket votes), they likely will had the Democrats the win, since recently the margin of victory in many elections is within a few percent.

A true Republican or conservative would not willingly hand power over to liberal Democrats, who are guaranteed to work against our values. Political suicide is not in our nature, nor condoned in our religious teachings, nor consistent with our Constitution. Leave the futile political statements to those not fortified with a higher purpose.
