Paulnuts and Giuliani
Rick Brookhiser for the National Review Online ^

Posted on 09/26/2007 8:16:41 AM PDT by mnehring

The behavior of the Paulnuts on the Mackinac ferry, noted by David, is a common consequence of pacifism and extreme libertarianism. Both think the state at war is the worst thing in the world. (Extreme libertarians think the state doing most everything else is also bad.) Most—maybe all—libertarians acknowledge a right to self defense. But in the modern world this cannot be done by militias. It requires a military industrial complex, with all the attendant consequences. Some libertarians accept this fact (while proposing modifications). Extreme libertarians do not; therefore they support self defense only in theory.

In any actual situation, the prospect of the state at war is so monstrous that the pacifist/extreme libertarian must prettify or deny the threat, and abuse Cassandras. Thus 9/11 was an inside job, the war on terror is a project of warmongering Jews, Giuliani stole WTC gold, etc., etc.

The honest pacifist/extreme libertarian would say, I will not fight, for any reason, at any time. If evil triumphs, so be it. It will be less evil than my fighting would have been. I at least have preserved my rightness. But that is a hard saying, hence these maneuvers.

Ron Paul is a pencil head, leading a jacquerie of wicked idiots.

Rudy Falls Victim to Boat Curse

http://wonkette.com/politics/don.t-go-near-the-water-dept%27/rudy-falls-victim-to-boat-curse-303602.php

Politicians: they have bad luck on boats! Last Friday, Rudy Giuliani was happily riding a ferry of some kind in Michigan when he was set upon and attacked by a horde of vicious Ron Paul supporters demanding to know what he did with all the gold from the World Trade Centers and asking why he let Cheney do 9/11. According to a local GOP activist, the Paultards threatened to throw Rudy overboard. He eventually “took shelter in the ferry’s pilothouse for the 15-minute journey,” according to the Detroit Free Press. “It was awful,” says the activist, who has no sense of humor. But like we said a minute ago, boats are just bad news for politicians, as the New Yorker reveals in their October 1 issue. Examples include:

*                A man named Gary Hart was doing a very good job running for president, once, until a picture showed up of a lady sitting on his knee aboard a boat called Monkey Business. Sex scandals were just different then.

*                Remember Jim Trafficant? In prison for being remarkably corrupt, even for a congressman? Some of his many bribes were taken in the form of repairs to his yacht.

*                Bob Ney had a boat! He probably bought it with all his dirty money from Jack Abramoff.

*                Jack Kennedy was on a boat a lot!

Then there is the D Dock at the Capital Yacht Club. Wow, what a neighborhood!

*                Larry Craig lives there.

*                So does Ted Stevens, currently under investigation by everyone!

*                Haha shit this is also where Duke Cunningham parked the Duke Stir.

*                Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne lives there now so expect to learn terrible, terrible things about him very, very soon.

More on this.

http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070925/NEWS06/70925040/1001/NEWS

“Texas congressman and Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul does not believe that 9/11 was an “inside job” and his campaign distanced itself from a raucous pro-Paul demonstration on a Mackinac Island ferry Friday night, a Paul spokesman said Monday.

In the incident, Paul’s supporters taunted former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani for alleged complicity in the attacks....

“They were not employees. They were not enlisted,” he said. If they expressed the view that Giuliani somehow knew in advance about the attacks, they were not representing the campaign, he said.

“If you’re asking whether Ron Paul believes our government was involved” in 9/11, “the answer is unequivocally no,” Benton said. “Ron Paul does not think that 9/11 was an inside job.”

Harrassing Giuliani in that fashion is “not something we would condone in any way.” Benton said.”

How embarrassing for Michigan’s college students, but typical I guess of the state of our kids education.

They are unable to distinguish fact and fiction, history begins when they wake up each morning, they don’t have the mental tools to resist their brainwashing Profs, or conspirazoids like RP.

Reminds me of the Madrassas that brainwash kids to dehumanize political and religious opponents, in order to foster fear and hate, and eventually radicalism and violence.

How convenient of Ron Paul.

He appears on kook radio shows like Alex Jones, and when the flies start coming in for the stink, he pretends like they don't represent his views.

The closer you look at this guy, the uglier it gets.

L Ron Paul, Al-Qaida’a best friend voted yesterday to block Congress’s denouncing Iran’s Ahmadinejad.

The Paulestinians are a combination of stealth left wing democrats, Kool aid drinking followers of the Jim Jones, Hevens gate, type and just plain stupid.
