Why is Fred Thompson neglecting this debate? This is one that would bring him home to the conservatives and advance his lead in the polls (not a poll person, but you have to go by perceptions).
Not only that, since he's dodged all the other debates, this would actually have given him a chance to participate in one.

Not only that, since he's dodged all the other debates, this would actually have given him a chance to participate in one. how many of the sophomoric debates must there be - they're nothing but dog and pony shows. I've never seen so many debates - they look and act like a bunch of kindergartners (apologies to kindergartners) like puppets. And do you really think you get much more than canned rhetoric out of them?
