So much for the naysaysers who said that the Paul campaign had peaked. What was amazing to me was how little enthusiasm was showed by backers of the other candidates including Mitt and Thompson. It is clear that Paul's campaign has staying power.

You know, I’m no fan of Paul’s view on the war. But I’ve come to the conclusion that the RNC is as much an enemy of America-first conservatism as the DNC, and would even vote for Paul as an outsider were he nominated (he won’t get my primary vote, though).

Ron Paul received 216 vote Sober up and get a grip ok? This is so pathetically desperate wishful thinking as to raise serious doubts about the Paulites sanity.

I'm assuming this is Iowa county in the state of Alabama?
If so, then you should ask the Mods to add parenthesis to the title.

Should read: “Paul Wins Big in Alabama” based on cited link.
The given headline makes the poster appear delusional. :)

To: Captain Kirk
Uh, why does the headline say IOWA????

Sober up and get a grip ok? This is so pathetically desperate wishful thinking as to raise serious doubts about the Paulites sanity. No sir, what is pathetic was the failure of people who supported the other candidates to turn out and vote as this official Republican forum, which was widely advertised in both the Tuscaloosa and Birmingham papers. Apparently, they had something better to do, such as rearrange their sock drawer.
BTW, speaking of "pathetic" how did your candidate do by comparison?

A: Not all spammers are stoned.

If Paul were to win the nomination, the RNC leadership would endorse HRC and beg her to take its support.

The Paul wackos have to make up headlines.. What headline was made up? Ron Paul got 81 percent at an official Republican straw poll, which was widely advertised locally. Question: how many votes did your candidate get?

Fred Thompson missed the crest of the wave over a month ago. Now he’s going to have to paddle like crazy to get his surfboard up and running...

“Lie?” How so? The poll was for the entire state. There were people there from Birmingham, Dothan, and Mobile.

To: Drango
Question: How did your candidate do in this official Republican party straw poll open to all residents in the state?

To: Austin Willard Wright
    Lie? How so?
His title said IOWA...... and that isn’t where the poll was at or I’ve not seen anything published that says AL is now in IOWA....
