Some journeys take longer than others. Americans are in a pivotal journey which began 230 years ago when our forefathers started from scratch and made us the envy of every nation on Earth. Americans met every challenge and threat head-on with a conviction our courage was manifested from faith in God. Great article and right on point, but the rot started long before we all became preoccupied with electronic gizmos. You can go back to almost any point in time after the founding and find erosion of our original principles. For example Marbury v. Madison (the basis of “judicial review”)was barely 20 years after the Constitution was written. Most of the really egregious stuff has been done in the last 40 or 50 years, however.
This election is a very critical time. I am quite certain we cannot survive another four to eight years of establishment politicians, and yes I am speaking of a very large portion of our presidential candidates.
