Another Trash Fred Thread of the Day from Pissant? Why bother.
Since his guy is sharing 4% at the bottom of the polls (I don't know how you can call this group 2nd tier) he has to be getting desperate. Oh, and Ann supports Duncan, Michelle likes Mitt and Debbie hates them all so far, so your theory don't dance to well either.
Remember we had a "DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS." picture around here somewhere?

Debbie hates them all so far...Reports are, she's contracted Rudiphilia nervosa. But pissant has no trouble trusting here if it means collecting more money for Duncan Hunter's "Elect my Son to Congress" PAC.

Indeed--the meat of the matter. Why didn't Hunter talk about his presidential aspirations when he was on FOX twice this weekend? Free national face-time, and he never mentions his campaign.

I never said PACs are bad.Especially when Dad's vanity candidacy funds a PAC to get Junior elected to Congress.

Hey, if you and B9 want to flog the Hunter conspiracy PAC to get his son elected that’s your business.

I'm willing to give Fred the benefit of the doubt here. Keep in mind that Abraham rebuilt the Michigan GOP from scratch into a powerhouse in the late 80s. Even though he sucked as a Senator & bureaucrat, he's a great campaign operative. He'll give Fred the edge he needs in the Midwest states. I don't think Fred hired him for policy, if Fred's elected he's not going to be a part of his administration. Just for the duration of the campaign.
I'm not happy with the pick though (Fred should have picked Pat Toomey or Michael Steele, IMO) and it does suck, but I'll wait and see what develops.
To: pissant
I told you your credibility was shot.

I’m not as critical of it as some of the bloggers have been. Not smart, but certainly not fatal. Frankly, I’m more concerned with his lack of straightforward candor than I am about his campaign staff.

I dont think were supposed to know about that. And we wouldn't have, if the Hunterites themselves hadn't posted evidence ~
The PAC thread and the New Hampshire dinner video. It all makes sense now.

“Its just more of the *countryclub* crowd that has evolved into what we see today. (the one that got away from conservatism)”
Actually, its past membership included people like William F. Buckley. Buckley is rightly considered as one of the founders of the modern conservative movement and hardly part of a crowd “that got away from conservatism”. This is an old argument I used to have with John Birch Society members back in the 1980’s, who tried to argue that mere membership in the organization was proof that the person in question was not a true conservative. I considered the argument intellectually lazy then and still do. It is too easy to play the “guilt by association” card and not look into the actual positions someone holds.
