Here I must agree with Pitt. I cannot even stand the SMELL of gin.
What happened was, when I was about 20, I once drank half a bottle of gin in about 15 minutes. As I was drinking, I thought, "Hey, this is not so bad. It's not affecting me." Well, let's just say there was a time-delay effect. I spent most of the night in another galaxy before ending up at the porcelain shrine.
Haven't had a drop of gin since.
I do like beer, wine, margaritas, scotch on the rocks. . . . (But, being a good Lutheran, not to excess.)
