I made a light-hearted joke that Thompson might be a good VP for Duncan Hunter, and never said anything bad about Thompson.

Sometimes we need to take a moment to smile.

We all do need to laugh more. It is difficult with some of the tactics people use around here though.

So, in other words, I'd be coming to a thread where someone is already egging people on and throw gasoline on the fire. I'm betting I'd get an even less pleasant reception than I gave to it. At least I made a joke about it.
