My instinct is that morality is more subjective, but according to the dictionary: virtue is moral excellence, moral is according to the rules of right conduct, and morality is conforming to the rules of right conduct.

I suppose the differnece is: virtue is morality taken to the next level.

It’s a start. The main branch of philosophy is Ethics. As you begin to study this branch you will find more and more discussion by the most eminent and respected minds both religious and secular and other questions will arise. There is no end, even if the modern discussion of moral relativity is set aside for the time being. Another subject of study would be the philosophy of history, dissension in which has caused much of the modern political argument.
