This is no way to win a war. How are we supposed to win the war if we punish our Marines for doing theri job — and on the word of the enemy, no less?

Nat Helms doesn’t mention it, but it’s important to know that neither Sharrat not Tatum were present during the alleged incident. Sgt. Mitchell told me that Sharrat was with him at the time, not with the squad involved, and that he knew that Tatum was not involved either.
