Evangelical Christians - Christians who annoy liberals by actually believing in Christianity.

Mahoney says Obama, who is trailing Senator Hillary Clinton (D- New York) in national polls, is "veering hard to the left to win more delegates for the presidential nomination of the Democratic Party."

This is being said of the man who claimed to be able to charm and win over anyone! Perhaps he over-estimated himself.

Considering the above article, I wonder what his definition of Christian is, which he has claimed he is.

Fred is trying play himself as another Raegan, isn't sure what his stand on abortion was a few years ago and still thinks it is the woman's choice. MHO

“Evangelical Christians - Christians who annoy liberals by actually believing in Christianity.”

LOL! True that! We actually believe the whole Bible, that it is the Word of God. Abortion, gay marriage, and evolution are all condemned in the Bible.

" He added: "I don't know what Bible they're reading, but it doesn't jibe with my version."

Of course it doesn't, Osama. Your version(s) defy God's disgust of deviant sexual behavior, blasphemy the Lords word, and completely ignore the way of life Christ set out for you to follow to ensure you achieve everlasting life. Your version garauntees death.

The other version with a rock named allah for a god, also contradicts every word Yahweh said, and promises death to all who obey and follow Yahweh.

#7 - you CANT be serious! I am stunned!

Many will be fooled, which is why Obama calls himself this. It is the way to grab votes. I hold onto the "by their fruits ye shall know them" and listen for the political speakese. (Someone here has referred to him as wolf in sheep's clothing / Obama.)

""Faith got hijacked, partly because of the so-called leaders of the Christian Right, all too eager to exploit what divides us," the Illinois senator said."

To the left the only way for the right not to "divide us" is for it to accept the liberal agenda. Accept abortion or be divisive. Accept, nay, celebrate queerness of be divisive. So on and so forth. No matter what words spew forth from their mouth it is always the same notion, "agree with us or we will make you agree with us anyway we can".

I've posted this before, but have you ever looked at the website of the church that Obama attends?
If not, check out the 'about us' section of tucc.org.
IF you were to substitute the word 'white' for 'black' and the word for 'europe(an)' for 'africa(n)' the Media would be squealing and the candidate would be driven off into oblivion.
As is, its an appalling statement.
Despite their title ('Church of Christ), this isn't a church - its an abomination. By their words they seem to worship race and division...

Even if I didn't know that Obama was a person with an uncommon (and unnatural) 'zeal' for promoting abortion - I'd run away from him solely based on his membership with this 'church'.

He has a lot of nerve. I can remember when everyone agreed on moral questions. It has been liberals who have deliberately destroyed the consensus.

Rick Warren could spread death and misery across the entire world, and he would still pat himself on the back for "trying".... and for caaaring.

He is the ultimate clueless Do-gooder of our time, rivaled only by Paul "Bono" Hewson.

He has a lot of nerve. I can remember when everyone agreed on moral questions. It has been liberals who have deliberately destroyed the consensus.

There was a time that 'everyone' (well, most everyone) understood that the Bible is the Word of God. And the basics:
God IS,
We are ALL sinners in desperate need of a Saviour,
Without God's Grace we await the judgment deserved by sinners.
People had a godly, and reverential fear for God. They understood that we are accountable to a higher authority.
Thank God for HIS Grace and Thank God for Jesus.

But these basics have been scrubbed out of our national memory. We are 'taught' that the Bible is a book written by primitive men to be treated on par with other mythology. IF there is a God he might've done something billions of years ago, billions of miles away... The only judgment to concern oneself with is the judgment or acclaim from society...
We have become numb, and forgotten fundamental instructions, such as:

Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

With this level of depravity ingrained into our national fiber it is no surprise about the return of child sacrifices (there is no other word for abortion: child sacrifice to the god of materialism, easy sex, and convenience to self), and the disregard for the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman.

Psalms 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

Obama is bashing and discrediting Christians now. In the future he will be promoting and legitimizing Islam.
