What I know of Thompson I like,for the most part.
It is the Thompson supporters, and their “Rudy-Bot” like tactics.
Are we not allowed to post articles questioning him, and asking questions?
I’ve asked and answered questions about all potential candidates. And for the most part, we have all had relatively civil debates.
But lately a few of the supporters of Fred Thompson have become abrasive and abusive, and any questions have been met with insults and personal attacks.
If Fred is a viable, conservative candidate, and we are to make a reasonable decision regarding our nominee,we must be allowed to investigate and question his record.
Are we going to be allowed to debate his positions, or are we going to be shut down?
Debate is fine. Accusations and propaganda that’s already been posted and refuted dozens of times is not debate.
It's one thing to ask questions. It's another to troll.
Fred has a perfect pro-life voting record and wants Roe overturned. But we've had a couple of posters pretending to be Hunter boosters who are bashing about a possible pro-choice survey Fred filled out in 1994 - and these are the same people who actually support Mitt or Rudy, who were unequivacally pro-choice in the past.
So it's a matter of trying to discern the actual Hunter supporters from the trolls. Unfortunately, the bogus trolls are souring the debate.
Because they've been answered hundreds of times on existing Fred FR threads! I get sick of seeing the same-old propaganda posted on every Fred thread! Do a friggin' search!!
