I have never understood why this Administration is unable to communicate to the voters. It would make such a difference.

The only thing I can pin it on is the oft mentioned idea of a 'new tone' for Washington. Bush isn't a politician. His father is, but the son isn't. The son used the father's connections (or the father forced them) to get the Presidency. Now that he has it , he tries to run the office based on his work ethic. But that work ethic doesn't work in DC. So, here we are.

I should have a PM DUFU this evening. I am okay. I fell asleep last night after just one very big glass of rum but I slept longer than usual and have to split out of here at 8 so Manny the Mechanic can work on my overheated vehicle.

A heavy dose of rum works better than sleeping pills. Nature's sedative.
