One half of Verry-Leftwards is just being a traitor to America. He had the same intelligence as all of the other defeatocrats did when they supported this war and he just is an appeal to the strident leftists that are sending that party McGovernites.

McGovernites dont care about the state of America, only their own political gain. And that political gain almost always comes at the hands of defeatism for America and victory for only defeatists and defeatocrats.

I read Edwards as a rank opportunist and consumate cynic. I don't take anything he says as a sincere expression of his beliefs, rather merely the rantings of a tinpot demogogue intended to stir up whatever mob (or jury) he is addressing at the moment.
