Well, counter strike is a “Counter Terrorist vs Terrorist” multi-player game over either a LAN or internet.
And while the ‘adults’ in my area are loathe to talk about the possibility of terrorism in the classroom, the kids have been talking about it for quite some time.
Likely there have been school based maps for quite awhile, just the Virginia Tech event made people touchy about it.
Not excusing it, just stating that it likely has been ‘out there’ for awhile.
I used to work with a kid who was a computer geek who told me he had edited some game into a model of our factory. I never really gave it any thought. He edited Resident Evil characters into his game.
I’m less concerned about the kids making these games than I am who gets access to them.
but if the kid did the program on a school computer and it was left there ....
