This morning I read that the Virginia Tech shooter died with the name Ismail Ax written in red ink on his arm. The mainstream press doesn't seem to have a clue as to what this might mean. To quote Indiana Jones, "Didn't any of you guys go to Sunday School?"
The story starts with a man named Abraham. He is the father of the Jews, the Muslims and the Christians. He was born in Iraq, the son of a wealthy idol manufacturer. He came to believe that there was only one true God and, according to tradition, took up his ax and destroyed his father's idols.

I’m not seeing how the crazed killer’s actions had anything at all to do with the Bible except in perhaps the most warped and tangential way.
“Im not seeing how the crazed killers actions had anything at all to do with the Bible except in perhaps the most warped and tangential way.”
I think what is important to consider then, is that he chose the Islamic spelling of Ismael.
You just described radical Islam and others who hate America and want to destroy our nation.
????
I've heard this all over the press.. what they are ignoring are the other possibilities that Ishmail Ax could stand for (in fairness, Fox did list all the theories to this) such as a 'gaming' nickname for an online game like World of Warcraft or Unreal Tournament, a literary or musical reference, a reference to a shrink that studies behavior problems like what Cho had (Ishmail Ak), or hell, even a Linux programming code...
Abraham was NOT the father of Muslims, except in their own
twisted history. Further, it WAS Isaac who was to be sacrificed, not Ishmael (of whom it is written, “He is a wild
ass of a man”).
Too damned bad that he didn't choose to "sacrifice" only himself and leave everyone else alone. Had he done that, the world would be a better place.
The mainstream press knows what this Ismail ax is about they are just playing like they dont so they dont have to say anything about it!
