We only need look at the drug problem in our country to realize that laws alone are not enough of a deterrent. Making guns illegal to own in the United States would not only be unconstitutional it would be disastrous for public safety. Tighter restrictions on guns will only prevent the population from defending themselves against those who have no regard for the law......

'Gun control' is designed to make the citizenry more dependent upon the government ... once slaughter occurs, you, if you survive the slaughter, will have to depend upon the government to 'protect you' while the next slaughter is planned by perps. Self defense is not encouraged by the central authority, just as responsibility for self is not encouraged either. Secular humanism is hallmarked by contradictory notions and duplicitous reasoning.
