Are we, as individuals, prepared to take the blue pill of complacency, close our minds to the decline, and just maximize our remaining years here to enjoying the trappings of freedom and prosperity, and resign ourselves to not being able to alter the course of our nation when our faith in the ballot box has proven to be a counter-productive mirage, or are enough of us willing to swallow the red pill of nationalistic action and realize that if we want America to remain the prosperous, secure, and powerful nation our ancestors built out of the wilderness we are going to have to risk poverty and imprisonment to re-secure it, just as our founders did. Who will stand up and take our destiny away from the political class that is currently failing us?
Great questions. I know what my answers are.
I think it is somewhat simpler.
The anti war movemet must always be opposed and defeated at every turn.
It is primarily affiliated with the Left.
It should be dislodged by pointing out that the Peace they defend is really genocidal matrices of order combined with terrorist training grounds.
Once the anti war movement is morally discredited the partisan sniping would be a marginal problem.
Some progress has been made on this front but more will be done once there is another major terrorist attack.
Sadly, it appears we may have to wait until more innocents die— and by that I mean innnocents that the Peace movement cannot ignore. The peace movement does not give a whit for the lives of Iraqis killed by terrorists. They do not particularly care if Americans on American soil are killed in terrorists attacks but they cannot get away with that posture so readily in public arguments. For them, this was the real tragedy of 911— America bashing became so absurdly complicated.
Unfortunately democracies or even Democratic Republics, cannot win sustained wars. The Voting public won’t allow it. History has proven this to be the case time and time again since the days of Athens.
That posting raises some very important question that we better have answers for.
Pass me one of those red pills.
One pill makes you larger,
and one pill makes you small.
The ones that mother gives you,
don’t do anythinng at all.
