Nope. In fact, a number of years ago the ACLU in Virginia got together with the state AG and agreed on some guidelines based on SC rulings to send out to school boards and principals. The idea was NOT to stop things like kids reading the Bible at lunch or writing class papers that talked about religion, but to assure school officials those things are legal.

Yes, I know, the ACLU helped create the paranoia that led to stupid things.
