Fishing for hits are we?

As I've said a zillion times before to others, if you want people to visit your blog, don't excerpt your own content. Especially annoying as I'd love to read Apprentice things, yet I can't in good conscious go visit your blog because of this post.

Let me say this once more....

I have a lot of pics on my Blog. I would, with a smile on my face, post my entire Blog here. I have been a Freeper for many years and get no pleasure out of sending folks all over the internet just to get me hits.

BUT...my pics do NOT upload on this forum properly, plus I write in complete HTML code which does not work with FreeRepublic very well. Requiring that I re-write the entire post which I am not willing to do.

Of course there are sarcastic freepers who will say anything nasty because, well there are mean people in this world. See...this is democracy....democracy...freedom to walk on by...move on....don't go to my blog, dear Lord do NOT compromise your principles man! It is entirely too much trouble to pass on by, indeed. But we MUST make a mean post.

Because we like to be mean and frankly.....some of us just CANNOT handle democracy.

I must be losing my mind.

Just out of curiosity, I went to your "blog" page....and saw NO "photos".

The "nail" cartoon WAS mildly funny, however.

While I wouldn't go so far as to say that the current ongoing "argument" herein constitutes "much ado about nothing"....it DOES qualify as "overblown rhetoric concerning the banal".

Okay, JB, first...you are NOT losing your mind.

I also agree that the ongoing argument is much ado about nothing but go with me here....I will never understand why people who get annoyed at folks that post links...on the BLOGGER page of FreeRepublic mind you...not like on the main page or anything. If they don't like it, walk on by.

And frankly, most folks do. I mean, three or four people a day read my blog!

As for NO photos on my Blog...if you saw the nail cartoon than you were on my cover page. BTW, that nail cartoon was hilarious...come on...SMILE!

The link in my sig line should take you to this cover page but each and every post is under a separate URL. Thus the link to my dancing with the stars and apprentice stuff is
the excerpt link. Hey, I hope I did it right. If not, the page with the Nail cartoon is the cover page and has a listing and synopsis of ALL blog posts I made within this week. The link for each post is there. Scroll down...you'll see.

See, I don't want to drive "hits" to my site as I only get about ten or so hits from these blog post excerpts I put on this forum. What I DO get, from time to time, are dedicated readers who join up my Yahoo group of sign up for RSS feed to my Blog. Hey man, I'm a calculating bitch if need be. But I insist that it is win-win, that if I provide some insightful commentary, which I would argue that I do very well, and if a reader likes it enough to stick around, everyone wins. It's how the world works.

If the reader doesn't like it....by all means move on and thanks for stopping by. It's called democracy.

But there is always some snide somebody who can't be content with just moving along. That same snide somebody has to pontificate mightily whilst wasting their precious time. It's just mean is how I see it.
