Friendly Fire in Iraq: Pentagon Cover Up or Inept Investigation

ERSNews.com has exclusively obtained never before seen photos of the battle at an-Nasiriyah, the largest single loss of American troops since the start of the Iraq War.
Los Angeles (ERSNews.com ) March 27, 2007 -- Was the Pentagon covering up or was their investigation inept? These are questions being asked by the web site, ERSNews.com. ERSNews.com has exclusively obtained never seen before photos of the battle at an-Nasiriyah, the largest single loss of American troops since the start of the Iraq War.
The official Pentagon investigation concluded that it was a "friendly fire" incident but concluded that no Marines had been killed by the "friendly fire."
Official US military photos of the scene, also obtained by ERSNews.com were withheld until obtained under the Freedom of Information Act. According to ERSNews.com, those official photos may have been altered by military officials. The non-official photos obtained by ERSNews.com and additional exclusive investigative reporting indicate something other than the Pentagon's official explanation happened and nine US Marines lost their lives that day due to a deadly sequence of errors.
