There might be no intention for it to be a complete surprise. It may be to squeeze them tighter and tighter to see if they give it up at the last minute. With this prognostication common knowledge an interesting tactic might be to fly a lot of airplanes on the 6th of April then stand down without announcing anything. Move the carriers back a bit, offer some more talks to begin in June then paste them good in May.

We don't need to invade Iran. We need to destroy enough of their nuclear capacity to render it useless(that does not require that we get it all, probably not even most of it)and destroy their air force and navy and communications. We need to concentrate especially on equipment provided by Russia, Pakistan, and China.
