This whole article, from start to finish was one exercise in ass-kissing. Al Gore has organized his own religion, complete with a dogma (Carbon in the atmosphere is evil, fossil fuels are evil, we must live in harmony with nature), holy scripture (The Population Bomb, An Inconvenient Truth, The Revenge of Gaia), "miracles" (melting glaciers), a holy covenant (Kyoto Protocols), remission of sin (purchasing carbon offsets), and finally, a holy prophet (Al Gore).

I can't wait until he asks for tax-exempt status.
