BDS Celeb Vincent D'Onofrio Regresses Into A Pvt. Pyle Depression

In a great case of life imitating art, Law & Order BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) star, Vincent D'Onofrio, has apparently regressed into his Pvt. Gomer Pyle character in Full Metal Jacket. According to the current (March 19, 2007) edition of the National Enquirer, D'Onofrio "has been prescribed a powerful antipsychotic medication that is often used to treat schizophrenia." In addition, according to the article, "A friend disclosed that during the past year D'Onofrio had been prescribed the drug Seroquel which is often used to battle mental illnesses."

There seems to be a mystery as to what caused D'Onfrio's mental problems: "Los Angeles-based psychiatrist Nathan Kuemmerle, who has not treated D'Onofrio, doesn't know for sure why D'Onofrio would be prescribed this drug." Well, perhaps Dr. Kuemmerle can't figure out the cause of D'Onofrio's current sad mental state but readers of the Nov. 11, 2004 EDITION of the New York Post Page Six have a pretty strong clue as to the reason, severe BDS:

VINCENT D'Onofrio, the star of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," passed out while shooting the hit TV series yesterday morning — prompting insiders to gossip that the actor is "losing it."

"Ever since John Kerry lost the election, [D'Onofrio] has lost his [bleep,]" said our on-set insider.

"He has been getting into fistfights with people, and when he passed out today, we all thought he was faking it. But then he insisted they call 911."

An ambulance raced to the Queens studio, where paramedics found nothing wrong with the gifted actor, who became a star in 1987 with his searing performance as a misfit Marine in "Full Metal Jacket."

Tensions on the "Criminal Intent" set are running high. "No one thinks Vincent will last for much longer," the insider said.

"He is so hard to work with — a total freak. He constantly complains about the scripts and has held up production a lot."

D'Onofrio, a big Kerry supporter, was said to be devastated over President Bush's re-election. "When PAGE SIX [last week] wrote about 'Law & Order' putting up signs forbidding political discussions on set, it was funny," our source said. "Those signs were put up because of [D'Onofrio]."

About a month before the election, D'Onofrio "insisted" on putting up anti-Bush posters and fliers, "and would attack anyone who disagreed with him," the spy added.

In response, "Law & Order" producers posted signs banning political discussions or anything else that would impede work on set, implying that D'Onofrio had held up taping of the show with his political zealotry.

D'Onofrio's co-stars, Kathryn Erbe, Jamey Sheridan and Courtney B. Vance, are said to be fed up with his antics.

"No one — and I do mean no one — talks to him anymore," the insider added.

Vincent D'Onofrio was just acting when he portrayed Pvt. Gomer Pyle in Full Metal Jacket. However, due to his severe BDS, D'Onofrio has apparently BECOME Pvt. Pyle. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if right now D'Onofrio is sitting on a toilet seat in some darkened bathroom gloomily saying things like:

"Seven-six-two millimeter. Full metal jacket."

Or...

"I *am*... in a world... of shit."

Even though D'Onofrio is a BDS leftwing wacko, I am not totally unsympathetic to his plight. Therefore I recommend immediate intervention by Gunnery Sergeant Hartman. This could begin by Hartman gently asking Vincent "Pvt. Pyle" D'Onofrio:

"What is your major malfunction, numbnuts? Didn't Mommy and Daddy show you enough attention when you were a child?"

IT ISN’T SLANDER IF IT IS THE TRUTH!

I met Vincent a few years ago I want to say I met him in 2003. It was around the time that Vin’s wife left him. I had a 4 year relationship with him while he was still together with his current wife.

Since 2004 or 2005 I have noticed a big change in Vin. He has become somewhat delusional and very angry. He often spoke of the Mother’s of his children and how they tricked him by getting pregnant. Although he loves his kids. He holds a great deal of anger over being trapped.

I have had so many talks with Vin about medication he is taking. He was diagnosed not with just depression, but bipolar disorder. Not only was he taking seroquel, but also abilify, and lamictal. He told me that he did not feel as though he was really losing it until after he did the movie the cell. He said that his research disturbed him so much, but intrigued him at the same time. He used to go into details about his research on serial killers. It gave me thecreeps. Anyway... I could tell you a million stories. What it boils down to is that the man is under so much stress, that couple with a mental illness and it is impossible to communicate, yet be any kind of a decent human being to anyone. People including me are sick of him.
