Yes, I clearly remember the Cuomo endorsement. One hilarious excuse I read this morning in defending Rudy is that Pataki was known to be a terrible candidate.
Being from Texas, I would not pee on either Pataki or Cuomo if they were on fire, but to endorse Cuomo over any GOP candidate speaks volumes on Rudy's future picks for cabinets, judges, staff, etc.

US Grant, Republican president 1868-1876, voted for James Buchanan, DEMOCRAT, for president in 1856. Guess you would have disqualified him as a candidate too.
